SRI RADHA DAMODAR TEMPLE INAUGURATION - JULY 2023

The Sri Radha Damodar temple, located at 226R Grafton St in Shrewsbury, is set to officially open its doors to the public on July 1st, 2023. The temple's inauguration will be marked by a series of four-day festivities starting on July 1 till July 4, 2023, celebrating the completion of this beautiful new spiritual, educational and cultural center.

The Sri Radha Damodar temple is a significant addition to the local community, providing a dedicated space for worship, the practice of Bhakti yoga, a form of yoga that focuses on devotion to God and selfless service. The temple will also serve as a cultural hub, hosting events such as lectures, workshops, and performances that promote the values of love and compassion.

The temple's inauguration will be a grand event, featuring traditional rituals by expert traditional priests from India. The traditional rituals will be officiated by Kiran Raj Vasudev ( Spiritual Name: Kulashekhar Chaitanya Dasa ), who is one of the chief priests at International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON, Bangalore). He is an expert priest in performing the installation ceremonies according to the Vedic traditions.

Furthermore, the event will be attended by some of the important spiritual leaders from US & India. Some of the famous spiritual leaders include His Grace Madhu Pandit Dasa, the President of ISKCON Bangalore & Chairman of the Akshaya Patra foundation, His Grace Chanchalapathi Dasa, the Senior Vice-President of ISKCON Bangalore, Vice Chairman Akshaya Patra foundation. Other local dignitaries include Senator Michael Moore, Harvard Professor Charles Hallisey, Boston Children’s Hospital Cardiologist Dr. Ram Emani has confirmed their participation. We also expect many other dignitaries to confirm their participation in the coming days. Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, cultural performances such as music and dance.

The temple's four-day inauguration is expected to draw a large crowd of devotees and members of the local community, who are eager to experience the beauty and spiritual energy of this new temple. The temple's organizers have worked tirelessly to ensure that the inauguration is a memorable event, and they invite everyone to come and take part in the celebrations.
